Mount Dandenong is a popular and hugely attractive mountain area to the east of Melbourne. At Mount Dandenong is Heritage Hill: a cluster of historic buildings set in picturesque gardens at 51 Langhorne St. These include the Benga Oral History Centre, St James' Church (Mount Dandenong's oldest building) and 'Laurel Lodge' (1869).
